Outside of the judge getting reversed, the most positive thing that could happen is that Dr. Steve takes his kids to Mass using the experience to teach them how wealth, power and mind control can create an institution like the Catholic Church. I would then have the kids write letters to the judge thanking him for giving them the opportunity to learn what a sham the church is. As I said in the Facebook post regarding this issue, I’m sure the judge would appreciate that.

Damn, I hate to reply to myself but I couldn’t figure out how to edit my initial comment. This whole scenario is the direct result of the attempt to completely automate the justice system. The buck no longer stops with anyone as they either just pass it on or tell you that their hands are tied. Nobody is allowed to make a decision so when you get an asshole judge that does take it upon himself to impart his own personal brand of enlightenment, the bureaucracy itself is paralyzed by its own existence. The American legal system is in the exact same place. That’s why you can get railroaded by a hyperzealous prosecutor, wind up in prison and end up staying there for months even after being completely exonerated.
